Commercial training and qualifications are recognised within the aviation industry. Aviation specific skills and experience are usually gained in-house via entry and mid level roles.

Aviation specific commercial and management courses are available but most commercial and corporate roles need specialist knowledge in that particular field of expertise (e.g. accounting or marketing). Career progression is based on the skills and knowledge you gain in-house.
