Flight Attendant, Virgin Australia

What is your favourite part of the job?

Two things that I love about being a flight attendant, first is the fact that your days are never the same. The flight, the weather, the people are always different, from your crew to the passengers, every day is different and I love that it’s inconsistent but consistent at the same time.

The other thing I love is that being a flight attendant doesn’t define who I am as an individual, yes it’s my job, however, it gives me the flexibility to have a career and have a life outside of work as well.

What advice would you give someone wanting to pursue this career?

Believe in yourself, don’t doubt yourself. Just go for it. If you put your mind to something you want to achieve in your career, and put your belief into everything you do, if you want it bad enough, it will happen.
