The Empowering & Enabling the Women of Western Sydney Program helps women secure the aviation career of their choice. This is achieved by creating awareness of airport & aviation career options, by sharing the training and entry pathways to achieve each career, and by providing access to female industry role models eager to share career and industry insights. The aim of the program is to ensure women have the awareness, skills, confidence and access to participate in the aviation workforce.
This is a free community based program including forums, workshops and mentor programs, offered across 13 Western Sydney local government areas. These events provide the opportunity to learn, explore and ask questions in a relaxed and supportive environment. The program is fully sponsored by the Office for Women, Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, as part of the Women’s Leadership and Development Program.
