Aviation specific IT experience is gained in-house via entry and mid level roles. Once you gain aviation specific IT experience your knowledge will be in high demand. There is lots of mobility within the aviation industry within and between organisations. Career progression depends on skills and knowledge you learn in-house as well as additional qualifications you gain along the way.
