Safety and security is great place to start your aviation career as most roles require no prior formal qualifications.
This is because your job gives you serious responsibility to keep Australians safe so you’ll receive on-the-job training to gain specific skills.
You need an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which requires you to be an Australian citizen or hold an Australian visa (limited visas accepted). You’re going to have lots of opportunities to work your way ‘up the ladder’ within each organisation.
If Biosecurity interests you, you’ll need a Bachelor degree in biology, environmental science, agriculture or similar to apply.
